  • NACE International statement on congressional support for corrosion control

    Today, Rep. Pete Olson (R-TX) sent a letter, co-signed by seven colleagues, to Department of Transportation (DOT) Secretary Elaine Chao. The letter references language that was passed in the DOT Appropriations Act of 2018, and requests the U.S. DOT consult with state transportation departments to ensure that contractors and subcontractors on bridge projects are utilizing industry best practices to prevent, mitigate, and control corrosion.
